I went to sleep early last night. 21:30 to be exact. I don’t know, it must be some kind of a fact that when you sleep for longer than the normal, you get to see all those crazy kind of dreams. Needless to say that I don’t remember exactly what I saw :P It wasn’t something worth remembering either. We move on.

I love the weather these days. Its mid April and still no signs of those harsh sub-continent summers. I love it. If last two weeks are anything to go by, we are in for a splendid summer this year. Even our HR manager was saying the other day “yar sari garmiaN aise hi guzar jayeiN to kia baat hai !”. I know what you are thinking, its a hope against hope. Summer’s gonna kick our arsenal, like it does every year. So, the least I can do is savor the good days while they last.

Juni has just been offered a bonus provided he finishes a newly assigned project before 10th of next month. Apparently it would be on expense of all those weekends, that Juni had planned to devote to his ever so huge family-base :D If you know what I mean :P Juni says he doesn’t know a sh*t about this project at the moment. Not to mention Juni’s partner in this project; who is already thinking of resigning. ‘Talk about earning your bucks’.

I was offered my first salary today as it was the salary day. The boss had some problems in getting me and other workers the cheques so he asked me if it was really urgent he could arrange the salary in cash. I for one was cool about it and settled for the cheque next day. One or two morons shamelessly took the cash. I mean its just one day and I’m sure none of them has a family to look after. Anyways, bad for their own karma.

Public transport is a pain in the arsenal. And thanks to the USA, fares are freakin’ sky high. Its a shame. The Suzuki tempo which I take from home to ‘moti mahal’ stop are just horrendus to travel on. The way you sit (your front side at right angle to the direction of the movement of the vehicle) is quite unprecedented and simply put, truly uncomfortable. The conductor today demanded 15 Rs from my home to ‘moti mahal’; two rupees more than the approved fare. Needless to guess, someone like me would never have paid extra :) And I didn’t.

Its always good to see chavs drop points at Stamford Bridge :D

Till next time…
